UB Composer converts human singing or humming (TA-TA-TA) or a recorded melody into timbres of any MIDI instruments.
BestPractice a musician's practice tool, to slow down or speed up music, either from an MP3 file or directly from a CD

LoopBe1 is an internal MIDI device for transferring MIDI data between computer programs. Basically LoopBe1 is an "invisible cable" to connect a MIDI outport of an application to any other application´s MIDI inport.
All MIDI data sent to the program´s output is channeled to the receiving applications in realtime.
You may connect up to 8 applications to LoopBe's inport and up to 8 applications to the outport, all sending and receiving at the same time.

KTDrumTrigger  is a VST plugin with custom editor that triggers MIDI notes based on the sound level of the incoming audio stream in different frequency bands. It allows you to "detect" occurrences of percussive sounds in an audio stream and send out a MIDI event whenever that happens.

Sampling is supposed to be fun

Prior to shortcircuit  it wasn't as fun as it could be.

powertracks real drums hint

Lets say you have a few audio tracks and you decide on what 'real drums" style you want to use.
Before you load up real drums, go to the chord chart as the song plays. Even though there aren't any chords there (you don't need them cause there isn't any midi stuff going on here), you can click on the bar numbers to make a bar read 1a or 1b or 2a or 2b ... you know, like in BIAB.
I would change the bars from "a" to "b" when there was some change or break in the song. Then when loading in the "real drum" track, you hear some really nice drum changes.
NOW the icing on the cake! I then "redo" my changes on the chord diagram again this time alternating between the "a" and "b" bar parts every 4 bars, then every 2 bars, then every bar. I would do this for a while and let it generate another drum track (on a different track) which includes LOADS of drum changes , ... i use the same style for both but of course you don't have to.
Between these two tracks of drum beats, i have many straight rhythms and drum changes to keep the song very vibrant. Naturally some songs don't need all these changes, but this method is great if you do. I then select the parts i want via cut and paste and create a brand new track which consists of the choice parts I decided to use.
I am sure some of you may know this already ... but for those who didn't .. this is a great way to get some really nice changes quickly without having to think them up! For me this way is easier because i am not a drum programmer. Its hard! i just let the "real drums" experts do their thing and i pick out what i want.Kristen
